Nikhil Desai was invited to be a speaker at India’s 68th Constitution Day Law Conference organised by the Indian National Bar Association (INBA) in Delhi on 25 November 2017. Nikhil’s talk focussed on the International Arbitration in Africa in a panel discussion on the “Changing face of Arbitration in India”: Nikhil focussed his discussion on the increased FDI between India and Africa and utilising arbitration as means of settling disputes in Africa. The conference was opened by India’s Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Honourable Vijay Sampla. Delegates included Government officials from Asia, lawyers and in-house counsel.
