On the 23 and 24 May, John, Nicola, Nikhil, Laura and Arooj attended the LCIA African Users’ Council Symposium. This Symposium covered a variety of issues related to the current and future practice of international commercial arbitration and ADR in Africa with sessions featuring the perspectives of arbitrators, counsel and members of the business and judicial community across the continent. During one of these sessions, Nicola acted as a Tribunal Secretary to an esteemed Tribunal during the role play on the use and function of Tribunal Secretaries.
