JMiles & Co. was a gold sponsor and participated in the conference “Hot Topics in Investment Arbitration” organised by Africa International Legal Awareness (AILA) in Nairobi on 5 November. The conference, held in association with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Kenya Branch, at the Riara University discussed the latest developments and trends in Investment Arbitration with a particular focus on their impact on Africa and the role of Africa. Senior Associate, Leah Njoroge-Kibe was a speaker and panellist in the panel discussion examining the role of African states in the reform of Investor State Dispute Settlement (ISDS). JMiles & Co was also represented in the conference by Elizabeth Kageni, Arooj Sheikh and Charles Kimani.
